New life started.
Mummy will tell you `1st part

This is where mummy spotted me sitting in The rain and cold

On the night of 27^th May 2013 7pm in the evening I was in my lounge thought I heard Tiga (who passed away two years ago, but I had a wonderful 17 years with him ) so went to my bedroom, saw nothing, OK I did not know what to expect as if Tiga would be there. Then burst out crying thinking I had gone nuts and hearing things even though it had been two years I was convinced heard him. Then I look out of bedroom window and saw a small ball on top of next door garage. I opened my window and starting talking to the ball of fluff, the kitten kept crying, and then walked along the garage roof, over an anti cat grip on top of the gate, and then jumped to the floor.

What mummy was getting herself into

WHO NARRRRRRRRRRR

I could not see her for a few minutes, and then this tiny little kitten head popped through a hole in the fence. I thought OK will and check on the kitten, thinking if she runs away, so be it, as I have had this happen a few times in the last couple of years but I think fate made them run away.

Well when I got down stairs the kitten ran into my arms and cried then starting purring, so went to all my neighbour to see how owned her (DID I point out how cute she was and loving THEN!)

My next door neighbour happen to be out in his garden, I asked if it was his kitten, He said a few houses down there was a special need’s lad, who had found her in a tree, And took her home, it turned out the father would not let him keep her, so threw her out the Back door to fend for herself.

Next door son and mom and dad (in their 70's) was feeding there next door cat while they were away and saw this kitten, so started feeding her, the son had been on web sites saying he found a cat, but was worried as they have a baby, and his day late 80's had fallen over the cat a couple of times. That to find the owner or new owner soon.

So I said I would take her in, and feed her, and said to neighbour I will leave it to fate, if no once calms her, then I will keep her. Was happy just to be a foster mummy. Ha there I was thinking just been a foster mummy and nothing else.

Well that’s how it all started

There she was all small and cute purring and not wanted to be place on the floor was just as happy to stay in my arms and let her new nanny hug her as well.

I wonder if her angle of brother had whispered in her ear and said if you want to stay with her, look cute, purr and hug her a lot. Then give a few days and you can do what you want, as that is what I did to be part of her life for 17 years.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 2

Of to the vet to she is Molly was chipped, and no she was not. Then of to Home base to buy some wood, to make a cat walk so molly could look out of the window, as she would become a house cat, so wanted to give her as much as possible to look at.

Then of to Asda for food and cat litter, then the Range to buy as many toys as I could find, for 17 years everything I bought was blue, now it was all going to be pink.

While my new mummy was running around getting me lots of things, I was more than happy to sit and play with my new Nanny, though she was not into cats, I knew I would win her over, also I knew I would get as many treats as I can off her.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 3

Had to remove all bags, it seemed Molly had a thing for plastic bags, so began the baby proofing everything I could think off. Lying on the floor thinking like a kitten, what could I eat, chew and hang off, also if you have any fresh veg in your bag, it is fair game to Molly, mushrooms seem to be her favorite at the moment, seems to be a great toy to run around with.

I think I am worth more than 99p mummy?

Mummy came up with this idea to keep bags away from me, just buy cutting a soda bottle to store them in

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 4

Cat proof the blinds, cutting all rope so no knots etc, Molly seems to be on a mission to point out everything I had missed. Also had to cut the cord rope light in my bathroom by two foot, to stop her playing, let’s hang of the light switch seemed to be a new game as well.

Molly wanted to see what was going on, so mad her very own Cat Walk LOL

How to make a cat scratching post, one eclectic roll, and carpet and one very happy Molly. OK the pink feathers seemed like a good idea at the time.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 6 Molly’s found a new hiding place under my settee; she thinks it’s a great laugh to grab your toe while go by, so will gaffa tape it, to stop her get stuck under it, well that was the plan.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 7 Needed a cat bed, so made my own, all I need was one jumper, cotton and needle and stuffing, Molly sat watching the whole thing coming together, though she had her heart set on trying to get the needle and cotton, so took longer than it should, while I played the game, “keep the needle away from Molly”

All you need is a jumper, and stuffing and a needle

Stuff the body, then sew, then stuff the arms bring the around to the front and sew up, 10 min job

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 8 Molly's grandmother came over to baby sit while I was at work, and it seems the bag’s are back on the menu and play hide and seek with her nanny (yes Molly gets full babysitting service)

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 9 Molly decide it not good enough just to sit on the rocking chair, but to get inside it, so had to re sew all the material so she could not get in side, well that was the plan. Also had to stuff paper behind the toilet system to stop her getting her head jammed that as well Ha.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 11, Mummy found a bit of inner carpet roll, so filled with balls and wrapped with carpet, I think it is the biggest toy I have ever seen, but it made me happy, well for at least 10 Min's. Mummy thinks this will take my mind of from jumping from the chair to fireplace mantelpiece, yes you guessed mom had to move chair away, thought this time she would be one up on me, well for at least today.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 12, Molly has decide she was here to stay, though I knew her photo was going to be on a lost cat web site, and said I would give it two weeks, just in case someone was away on holiday, hated to think a little child was out their and lost their kitten. Thou the min she ran into my arms, I did not stand much of a chance.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 15, I am trying out nannies cross word, thou chewing it seemed more fun. Became bored and then watch the TV for a while, which at the time. Mummy thought this was cute, until she found my paw prints all over her flat screen.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 20, Molly seems to be checking my flat screen TV out I wonder why? Or was it my phone. Somehow 3am in morning I heard my mothers voice, I jumped out of bed thinking she has phoned me in trouble, but No somehow Molly had sat on my phone and set of an old message on the answer phone machine. It’s an Art you know mummy. Yet another shattered sleep.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 21, After the 5th time sitting on my freeview box, decided to take action. Out came the staple gun and plastic fencing.I have a feeling this is just the start, of SAS Molly's things to drive me nuts

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 22, Molly thought it would be a good idea to join me for bath, let’s just say still I still have the claw marks when she used my tummy as jumping board to get out. YES SO NOT doing that again mom

Which lead to Molly’s first pedicure, which she did not mind, well not until I got to the last one of her nails and if I could under cat sound, I think she told me “to get stuffed”

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 23, OMG police called me asking" if I was OK". I said yes, they said "a call from my phone to them happened 7.15am and then been off the hook since". Then they asked if "I had I got children" I said no I had a kitten. It turns out Molly had dialled 999 with her ass on the phone.

And it had gone to call centre , as they could not hear anything, they kept phoning me but then the phone was engaged for 20 Min's, well it just happened to be one of those days I was on the phone to my mom.

But at last they got threw to me. Thank god it was a cat owner I was talking too, and so very understanding, as I felt so embarrassed and shock what my little SAS kitten had been up to. I do not know how many times I said sorry to them, and how shocked i was, but as I say thank god it was a cat owner i was talking to.

Phone has now moved onto a wall well away from me, to be honest not sure what the all the fuss was about, all I know my mummy's face was very red when she got of the phone .

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 24, Molly has decided that cables are the new toys to play and chew with. Had to cover every cable with gaffa tape and then paint the gaffa tape, you would think that would be enough OH NO! Not for Molly, so had to add extra fence wire as well, and fence wire along the phone cable.

So I like to chew cables, what's the fuss about, if they not learnt to be chewed they should have not been there in the first place

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 25, Molly has found a new toy now it’s called my TV, she watches the TV, then try’s to jump on the screen, let’s just say the TV is the only thing I have ever bought new and would like to keep it that way haaaaaaaaa. So place two sided tape on the top to try and stop her, will see how that goes.

Mom read this on Google, that it would work, as we are not suppose to like the feel of the tape. well only time will tell.

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 26, Molly’s just worked out; the lino can be chewed and pulled up. So more gaffa tape and mat to be put down. thou she makes out she is playing with a toy

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 27, Yes day 27, living on 3 hours sleep a night, and now Molly has found a new toy YES another one, it seems my toes, not sure what that is all about, but she seems to be having fun, though I know I should not allow this.

Well mom not sure about you but I am so tired from lack of sleep due to every 3 hours jumping on you.

BOX chill time I think

Home made beds are not good enough; it seems a box is the new bed vogue, funny all the toys and games I have of mummy and Nana this box seems to be today’s winner.

Biology lesson on how a Tortie's coat is created. Tortoiseshell cats often have ginger or golden patches, which are caused by the O gene. This shade can closely resemble yellow, orange or maybe red. The O gene is carried over by the X chromosome, and thou a male cat generally has an XY genetic makeup, that of females is an XX makeup. If a female inherits one O gene, she will be a Tortoiseshell; two O genes, and she is a ginger cat.

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 30, Today’s Molly’s favorite toy, its seems every 10 Min's she brings it to me and I have to throw it so she can bring it back to me, I wonder if she thinks she is a dog, and around 8pm, she goes into a mad one, running around with her fluff fluff in her mouth, over chairs around tables and into the bath.

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 31, Molly is the SAS of cats, you name it and she will find a place to lie in wake to attack your toes, think I may need to buy some night goggles

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 32, Its seems Molly now can jump from my settee into my kitchen, so comes out the good old gaffer tape, and PVC screen and paint, so she knew it is now closed to her, and as a back up plan, double taped the ornaments down, thought I would be one up this time, but time will tell.

Yes and you Got a few glares that day from me.

I placed tape on the PVC and then painted it with water paint, then used my finger to make patterns, the reason is I want her to know it is solid, before she tries to jump threw it.

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 33, OK the two side double tape did not put Molly of jumping onto my TV, how do I know this, fur stuck on it five days in a row (new tape each day) You would think after the 1^st lot of tape you would have thought it would have stopped her, but after 5 lots of tape done over 5 days did not stop her nothing will (so much for Google help on that one) so you guest it more gaffa tape and plastic fence wire, everywhere.

CRAP MORE WIRE

Molly also decided it was time to kill all the plants, and yes out comes the plastic fence wire, thank god I have a staple gun to do all these jobs, my poor money plants.

To any farmers out there you will know what this is ha.

My Nana has told mummy how I turn onto a the little SAS Molly Kitten while she tried to get thru the front door while she was trying to get in with shopping etc.

It seemed Molly would try this on her and not me, so been from farming background, made a pig board but with a little change to ”Cat board” now mom can hold it at the bottom of the door while she try’s to get past the SAS Kitten. OK did not need to make a collage cat, but could not help myself.

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 40, It seems Molly Learns to non stop talk, until she gets what she wants, what ever happened to that purring quite sleepy kitten, 40 days ago. Tortoiseshells are also called 'Torti-tude' which is means Tortie attitude! Lets just say very determined when she wants something and very strong-willed and very sassy with it.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 41, 1^st weigh in gained 8oz so far, as you can see Molly just does not care. Even when I took her to the vets to get her worm tables and flea drops nothing fazed her, at one stage she was doing a staring contest with an Alsatian dog and you guess Molly won.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 42, Too hot and tired, but to be honest she was up at 3am, jumping up and down my bedroom door trying to get a toy I hung up so she would not get caught up in it, while I slept, Molly had different take on that and wanted it NOW!! When I got up like a zombie to remove it and hide it in the wardrobe, OH NO, this did not stop her 30 Min's later could hear her jumping up and down the wardrobe door.

GOSH MOM YOU THINK YOU ARE TIRED,. WHAT ABOUT ME?

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 43 had to remove everything from my bath Molly’s orders, she wanted full walk round access.

In love with bath in this hot weather, god knows what your water bill will be this year mummy LOL

AND YOU BETTER MOVE THE SPONGE, AS YOU KNOW I WILL BE AFTER THAT NEXT lol

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 44, Get into the rocking chair yet again, so this time, mom to drill and screw in new wood and sew all around to stop me getting inside. I knew I had not heard the last of this one. But thought Well at least I may get one week break for her trying, To get inside of it again. Time will tell.

WELL MIGHT AS WELL GO TO SLEEP IF I CANNOT GET INSIDE OF IT

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 45, I have Gained 1 more oz. As you tell I am not fazed at all, just thinks it’s a new game

WOW 5 POINT 9, HOW CLEVER AM I

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 46, To hot to run after balls, so mom had to take balls to me, do you get the feeling I have me wrapped around her little Paw.

Tortoiseshell cat’s shares a unique personality torties are almost always very active and playful, with sassy, spunky, with in-your-face attitudes. They also often fancy themselves as alpha cats; I think Molly knows this already.They are often unpredictable (YES) can be intelligent (VERY) sweet and affectionate (ONLY at food times)

I can sense when she is up to something, it is as if the earth has stopped moving around and there is a kind of spooky silence, plus her eyes tell me when she is just about to go into a mad one, they turn like a fox

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 47, Molly’s 1^st real bath time and let’s say last bath time for Molly. You would have thought I was going to kill her with the sounds and look she gave me, but had to wash her ready for the Vet the next day (been using Vaseline to help get fleas of her) oh the joy of fleas. I thought me and molly were fast, but the fleas were well ahead of us, but had to say using Vaseline was a great way to stick them to the coat, so you could then just comb the little buggers out.

Three times a day I would comb her threw. I would spot the flea, but sometimes by the time I got the valentine ready to push on it so I could pick it off the little bugger would jump.To be honest I may have gone over board with the Vaseline, hence giving her a bath.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TELL ME, I LOOK LIKE A ROCKER, OR A PUNK

Vet thought it was very funny. ME I DID NOT!!!

LETS JUST SAY I AM NOT TO HAPPY ABOUT THIS

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 48 Molly tries to blindside me HA sorry bad joke, Molly had found a way of getting behind the blind and turning in to a hammock, so out came the needle and thread again to stop this. While all cats are different, Torties tend to share in common the fact that they are very impish and curious. These cats are often also playful and entertaining, but can also add extra jobs to your day. in my case 48 jobs in 48 days.

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 49, Gained 2 oz which is great news, as when I had her, she was filled with worms. Which enjoyed all the food I was feeding Molly, up every two hours, cleaning the worms off her, until the worm tablets started to kill the little sods off, and checking her poo each day, trust me, kitten food coming out the other end has a aroma of its own.

Your fault, if you will feed me kitten food

I tell you, you know when your eyesight is going when you have to put your glasses on and full day light just to get the worms, in the end gave Molly a little short back and side cut. And he did not mind, just lay there while I cut her hair away, and they she lay on her tummy to get more air to her bum.

Worms and fleas are such a joy NOT! And not the faint hearted

5 LBS AND 11 OZ, GOSH I AM DOING WELL, AREN'T I MUMMY

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 50, All I can say is thank god I read up about kittens!!
As her 1^st tooth came out and I nearly died even thou I know it would happen, but still the same when she shook her head and it shot out of her mouth, well not one of the cutest things she has done, must be all the toys she is chewing on and oh yes my kitchen floor, handbag, well anything she fancied.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 51, Molly thought OK you have taped down all the ornaments in the home, time to find something new to destroy, hence my vase and silk flowers. Lets face it fresh flowers will never be allowed in the home. Even though I thought, oh crap now what, when she looked at me threw the flowers all I could do was smile inside.

SAS Molly The Kitten Day 55, Just too hot, it seems mummy's dinner tray is now a new bed I mean I only has two beds to sleep on, and oh yes mummy's bed. I mean how many beds does this kitten need but it seems this one comes with a fan so this is the number one choice.

SAS Molly The Kitten DAY 57, Molly still teething so out comes more Straws to help with teething, and off course they have to be pink, I mean that goes with out saying, they last one lasted a whole day, thou trying to find them after is a job and half.

A little bit about tortoiseshell Cats, if you have one then you will know it means 'Torti-tude,'

Poor Molly only 6 months old, and her world seems to have changed for her over night, not a very happy Kitty to say the least

Then came 8 month grumpy teenager Molly. no longer wants to sleep with me anymore. Molly pretty much does what she wants to do and happy to do it all. I know cats aged 6-18 months are classed as adolescents. As they grow more confident and independent, just like human teenagers, they are constantly testing the boundaries. And boy is she doing that.
